He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton L. Norris and Mildred Elizabeth Merritt Norris; his siblings, Inez Benton and Donald Norris; his wife Peggy Butler Norris; and his daughters, Beth Coldwell (Steve) of Garland, Jo Strickland of Garland and Wendy Taylor of Garland. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
