She was predeceased by: her son Bradley Ford Rogers; her parents, Daniel Hamlett and Pearle Hamlett; and her siblings, Wilson, Woodrow, Dewitt, Isaac, Charles, Dean, Ruth, Esther, Ruby, Eva, Laura, Imogene, Lois, Nancy and Mamie.
She is survived by: her husband James Thomas "J. T."; her stepchildren, George Riley of Clinton, NC, Scotty Riley of Lumberton, NC and Barbara Dell Burton of Lusby, MD; her sister Ida Mae H. Harper "Polly" (Marvin) of Madison Heights, VA; and her brother-in-law Rev. Woody Hudson of Rustburg, VA..
