He is survived by: his children, Samantha Kerr of Fayetteville, Bryan Carr of Clinton, Ryan Carr of Harrells, Stanley Carr of Garland, Mario Townsend of Fayetteville and Shaw Townsend of San Diego, CA; and his siblings, Ann Smith of Garland, Willadean Ejiofor of White Oak, Bernice Wilcox of Garland, Alberta Johnson (Ray) of Garland, Paul Smith (Mary Joyce) of Garland and Burnis Smith Jr. of Clinton.
