It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Barnes of Garland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Austin Barnes. She is survived by: her sons, Dean Barnes of Garland, Stanley Barnes of Garland and Frank Barnes of Garland; her sister Geraldine Carroll of New Bern, NC; and her granddaughters, Brittany Lennon and Mary Jo Lennon.
