He was predeceased by: his parent Donald Belvin Furmidge; and his brother Bobby Furmidge. He is survived by: his parent Reba Hall Furmidge; his wife Sandra Stancil Furmidge; his children, Dwayne Furmidge (Beth) of Wilmington, Bryan Furmidge (Jesse) of Fayetteville and Donna Furmidge of Fayetteville; his stepdaughter Shauna Sharpe of Torrance, CA; and his siblings, Ellen Norris of Garland, Diane Prosper (Guy) of Castle Hayne, NC and William Furmidge (Barbara) of Clinton.
