He is survived by: his nephew Chris Furlough (Dawn Marie); his children, Meriel, Isaac of St. Charles, Michael Furlough (Jennifer), Kyle, Allison, Amie and Madison of Hondo; his niece Stacey Shaffer (Drew); and his children, Jordan and Caroline of Athens, Ala.
