He is survived by: his mother Alice Faye Cain Smith of Garland; his wife Susan Smith of Garland; his sons, Ray Smith (Joy) of Kelly and Michael Scott Albertson (Jennifer) of Fayetteville; his sister Melinda Weissinger (Herb) of Elizabethtown; and his grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Brooke Smith, Lauren Johnson, Landen Johnson, Kacyee Smith, Aubrie Smith and Holly Smith.
