He is survived by: his wife Jeanneen Spears; his children, Joshua Spears of Lenoir, Jordan Spears of Lenoir and Claudia Spears of Hudson; his granddaughter Emilyn Rae Spears; and his brothers, Bruce Spears of Lenoir and Bryan Spears of Lenoir.
