He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin Burns, II and Ruth Dorothy Veal Burns. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Baker Burns; his sons, William Calvin Burns, III and Tyrrell Calvin Burns, Jr.; and his stepchildren, Gregory Lynn Connor (Beverly Coats) and Angela Connor Mangum (John). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
