“My heartfelt sympathy to the Eckard family for your loss. She was happy her children were so good and generous and she loved spending time at the beach and being with her dog Shadow. I will have Masses said for her soul. Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.+”

“Susan was a generous and steadfast lady, involved in Cursillo with a circle of "forever friends'' who were like sisters. We got to spend happy times with her not long before her death, and for that we're grateful. I sat next to her as we ate lunch outdoors on a beautiful day at a winery and I could see her smile and happy countenance as we shared memories of our younger days. She always missed her love, Bill, who also worked on Cursillo weekends to spend time and interact with Our Lord. contd”
