She is survived by: her niece Latoeka; her husband Apostle Frank Barringer; her siblings, Eddie Black, Beatrice Black, Arthur Givens, Helen Stokes, Odell Black, Edward Black, Jr., James Black, Johnny Black, Sr., Hazeline Howard and Carolyn Phifer; her cousin Lina Williams; her children, Regina Owens, Beverly Moss (Elder Andre I), Earl Barringer, Eric Barringer, Marlon Eric Barringer, Kiwanis Barringer and Thomas Owens, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Reva Barringer, Elder Kelvin Barringer (Diane) and Reggie Barringer; her grandchildren, Thomas Owens, Jr., Danielle Bryant (Jerome), Elder Andre Moss II (Latoya), Jacanta Moss and Emmanuel Barringer; her great grandchildren, Zahrya Walker, Zoelle Walker, DeAndre Reid, Zoe Moss, Izaiah Williams, Allyah Chesney, Christian Owens, Justice Bryant and Roman Bryant; her nieces and nephews, Beverly Steele, Brenda Black, Shirley Bacote, Stephanie Black (Alex), Courtney Austin (Antwan), Quartiz Guyton, George Blackmon, Johnny Black, Jr., James Coontz and Norman Black; her son-in-law Erih Dillard; her grandchild Jevonda Faust; her friends, Patricia Funderburk, Reba Wilks, Louise Bryant, Gracie Hargro, Graphelia Ramseur, Carla Coontz, Delice Guy, Yvonne Jones, Patricia Dillard, Jean Williams, Hester Lloyd, Delores Davis and Anna Porter; her goddaughter Deborah Pigett (Eugene); and also, Antonio Steele, Latoeka Steele and Melvin Steele (Re'Nita). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many special children and grandchildren, special cousins, extended family and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Of Prayer For All People-Mother House (2321 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
