With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa Carole Dean Upchurch of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 60. As we bid adieu to Lisa Carole Dean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lisa Carole Dean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Heulon Dean and Alta Dean of Fuquay-Varina; and her brother Donald McCarrick. She is survived by: her husband Harold McLeod Upchurch, Jr. of Fuquay-Varina; her son Zachary; and her sisters, Karen Reid of Fuquay-Varina and Carol Bartos of Willow Springs. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Ennis St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1621 Broad St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526).
