She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Dickens and Thelma Dickens; her sister Bonnie Dudley; and her son Daniel Griffin. She is survived by: her sons, James Griffin (Nikki) and Brian Griffin (Lynn); her brother Joe Dickens Kenny Dickens (Sharon); her niece Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Hunter, Alyssa, Austin, Carley, Anthony and Damien; her niece Amanda Dudley; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron, Madalyn, Annabelle, Layla and Zoe Jane.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Ennis St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Duncan Baptist Church (12024 NC-42, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27540).
