She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Flossie Stephenson; her husband Benson W. Cotten; and her daughter Sandra Cotten Lessard. She is survived by: her grandson Ronald "Steve" Stephenson Lessard, Jr. of Clayton; her siblings-in-law, Gerry S. Cotten, Dorothy Cotten of Fuquay-Varina and Maynard Lloyd of Winston-Salem; and her pet Traveler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; cousins; dear friends.
