He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gerard Ludwig Charbonneau and Evelyn Charbonneau (Dugas); his wife Carole Ronan; his sons, Joseph Jr. and Brian; his sisters, Ina Mae McCullough, Irma Wooley and Anita Winters; and his son-in-law John Rioux.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Rioux of Fuquay Varina, NC and Wendy (Bill Leeman) of Vista, CA; his granddaughters, Stacey (Robert Burns) of Holly Springs, NC, Kelsey Charbonneau of Edmond, OK, Amanda (Tom Cochrane) of Rochester, NH, Captain Brooke Peregrin and Leah Charbonneau of Rochester, NH; his great grandchildren, Randall and Samuel Burns of Holly Springs, NC.; and his siblings, Gerard Charbonneau of Los Gatos, CA and Judy Chestnut of Livermore, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
