He was predeceased by: his parents, R. M. Stone and Bessie Willis Stone; his wife Ann Stone; and his sisters, Jean, Mildred and Rosalie.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Stone and John "Chris" Stone of Loveland, CO; his grandson Brandan Stone of Loveland, CO; and his siblings, R. M. Stone of Staunton, VA and Joyce Harmon of Buies Creek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
