We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2022 we had to say goodbye to James Robert Gardner (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gardner and Roberta Gardner (Cooper). He is survived by: his son-in-law Alex; his wife Ellen Bush; his daughter Kristi Holder (Alex); his granddaughter McKenzie Holder of Apex; his sister Janice Howell of Rocky Mount; and his brother-in-law Clark Bush of Decatur. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Ellen and family, Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I remember the good times with "Jimmy" and know he talking with the past "tar heels" in heaven. He will have to coach 'em up hard for them to be respectable. I think the last time I saw Jim was at the "Dean Dome" doing what he loved best--cheering the Heels. Gail says she will miss his wit, smile and his dancing moves. We are praying for you. God has a plan. Warmly, Pat and Gail”
