It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. C. May Jr. of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Claude May, Sr. and Laura Albertine May; his wife Dora Jean May; his children, Valley May Dezern (Dustin), Jesse James May (Brittany) and Michael Jarrett May (Nichole); his brother Mark May (Betsy); his grandchildren, Claudia "Remi" Sloan Thompson, Michael Gideon May, Colton William May, Asher Lachlan Dezern, Emerson Jude May, Ryder James May and Logan Lehn May; his niece Shalon Barbour Edwards (Richard); his great-nephew Richard Edwards; his great-niece Camille Edwards; and his close friend Scott Curtner.
