He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Schaefer; his sons, Peter Joseph Schaefer (Suzanne), Jesse Andrew Schaefer (Lindsay), Daniel Adam Schaefer (Sarah) and Stephen Jared Schaefer (Mackenzie); his grandchildren, Alia, David, Caleb, Myka, Olivia, Megan, Marcus, Alison, Violet, Scarlett and Poppy; and his siblings, Robert Schaefer (Nancy) and Linda Kendrick. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
