He is survived by: his children, Dennis McLaurin (Charlene) and Debra Lewter; his grandchildren, Kevin Lewter (Kim), Josh Lewter (Catie) and Macy McLaurin; his great grandchildren, Eli and Easton Lewter; and his brothers, Charles McLaurin (Sarah) and Tracy McLaurin (Mary Ree). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Piney Grove Baptist Church Building Fund in his honor.
