We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 90, Coy Lee Thompson Sr. (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fonnie Thompson and Elsie Thompson; his wife Shirley Thompson; his sister Carolyn Vinson; and his granddaughter Amy Thompson Redeyoff.
He is survived by: his children, Shelia Callis (Joe), Lee Thompson (Donna) and Barry Thompson (Angela); his siblings, Hugh Thompson and Evelyn Castevens; and his grandchildren, Craig Callis (Tiffany), Heather Harrell (John), Christa Bunce (Brian), Adam Thompson, Barry Thompson, Jr. and Branden Thompson. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Alzheimer's Association.
