He is survived by: his son Charles Nesmith (Gloria); his grandchildren, Kamilah Nesmith and Charles Nesmith II; his great grandchild Maurice Thomas; his siblings, Clarice Harris (Elmo), Lillie, Joyce Hunter (Melvin) and Bobby Nesmith (Diane); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Tillage, Larry Taylor and Dorothy Nesmith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
