It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Elaine Heinzerling (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina), born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thompson and Dorthy Thompson of Rockwell, IA; and her brother Denny Thompson of Lake Mills, IA.. She is survived by: her husband Rollin; her children, J. R. Heinzerling (Crystal) of Clayton, NC and Susan Kane (Tim) of Apex, NC; and her grandchildren, Henry, Thomas, Carleigh Heinzerling, Ryan, Jackson and Ethan Kane. She is also survived by four nephews and four nieces.
