It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Berneice Rogers of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, born in Kilgore, Texas, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Everette Johnson Harp; her husband Rev. Burl Jerry Rogers Sr.; and her sisters, Patricia Connor, Roberta Ivory and Floretta Harp.

She is survived by: her son Burl Jerry Rogers, Jr. (Diane Carlile); her grandchildren, Toby Tyler, Scott Rogers (Timber Prescott) and Erica Rogers; her great grandchild Samuel Schloss; and her brother Everett Harp (Jerre).
