It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Creech (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina), born in Zebulon, North Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Arthur Lee Banks; her son David Nevin Banks; and her siblings, Joe Hopkins, Jr., Frank Henry Hopkins, Alice Lindsey, Charles Hopkins and Valeria McBride.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Banks Hubert (Wayne); her husband Richard Creech; her daughter-in-law Julia Banks; her grandsons, Christopher Hubert and Solomon Banks; and her siblings, Jacqueline Gregg and Howard Hopkins (Edith). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to New Providence Baptist Church Scholarship Funds in memory of Sister Barbara Creech.
