She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Annen and Geraldine Annen (Reynolds); her husband Don; her grandchildren, Sydney Kratochwill and Maris Christofferson; her brother Jim Annen (Arlene); and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Schuetta (Leo), Ed Jacobsen (Diana), Rose Marie Rivard (Don) and Pat Walters.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Christofferson (Eric) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Mark Schmitt of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Bob Schmitt (Nancy Templar) of Wauwatosa, WI, Chris Schmitt of Portage, WI and Kathy Kratochwill (Jerry) of Madison, WI; her granddaughters, Marianna Christofferson (Travis Walsh) of Angier, NC and Jenna Schmitt of Oregon, WI; her children, Sarah Gourlie (Brian) of Monona, WI, Hayley Olds (Mitch) of Milwaukee, WI, Maddie Templar Schmitt of Noosa, Queensland, Jade Wanger (Tim) of Minneapolis, MN, Cody Schmitt of Middleton, WI and Jasmine Schmitt of Madison, WI; her stepgrandson Brad Kratochwill (Shelbey) of Milwaukee, WI; her great grandchildren, Oliver, August, Everett Olds, Bryce, Cora Gourlie and Baby Wanger; and her brothers-in-law, Ken Walters, Bob Walters (James Brown) and Bill Walters (Deb). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In 2020 COVID and diminished mobility took its toll.
