We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2024, at the age of 81, Richard Gerald Adams Sr. (Fremont, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Malcolm "Monk" Adams; his wife Elizabeth Neal McCormick Adams; his son Richard "Gerald" Adams, Jr.; his stepmother Margaret Adams; and his sister Evelyn Hargett.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Harrell; his son-in-law Robert Gene Harrell, Jr. (Marie Jackson); his granddaughter Jenna (Pomeranian); his pets, Lila, Harper and Koko; his brother-in-law Thomas McCormick; his children, Michael Adams (Lori) and Kimberly Adams; and his grandchildren, Brook Adams (John Brooks), Heather Blanton (Dillon), Jeff Adams, Pansie Jo Adams and Patrick Adams. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
