He was predeceased by: his wife Betsy M. Peacock; and his sons, Raymond B. Peacock, Jr. and William Gaston Peacock. He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Brown of Fremont and Sally Moore (Jim) of New Bern; his sister Cornelia Blalock of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, James O. Moore Jr. of New Bern, Andy Moore (Andrea) of Juiz-De, Sandra Barrett (Josh) of Rocky Mount, Jay Brown (Jannice) of Fremont and Bill Brown (Ashley) of Greensboro. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
