She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Holland and Lillie Bedford Holland; her husband James David Mooring; her son Eddie Joe Mooring; and her brother Charles T. Holland.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Marcia Mooring of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Karen Diane Howell (Shawn), Crystal Mooring and Mark Mooring (Mystie Lucast); her great grandchildren, Isabel Howell, Christian Mooring, Dominick Botsford, AnMari Botsford and Geneva Mooring; her stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Herring (Donald) and Daphane Dilbeck (Matthew Quick); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Billy Herring (Kayla), Victoria, Layla Dilbeck and Malahna Herring; and her friend Buddy Hassell (Cathy). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Flowers are welcome or donations in memory of Lois can be made to Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Blended Fellowship or Salvation Army.
