He was predeceased by : his former life partner Barbara "Bobbie" White Evans; his son Floyd Anthony "Andy" Evans; his parents, Hugh Evans and Elizabeth Powell Evans; his grandson Bryan K. Barker; and his siblings, Frances Whitworth, Bee Dolt, Ruth Thornton and Cecil Evans.

He is survived by : his wife Christine Sugg Evans; his children, Lynne Barker-Clarke (Bob Niedbalski) of Hillsborough, Judith Evans (Andy Shackelford) of Fremont, Jean Milleson (William Jones) of Fremont and Steven Evans (Tammy) of Fremont; his daughter-in-law Nancy Evans of Fremont; his stepchildren, Paula Wallace (Jimmy) of Arapahoe and Alan Thompson (Lynn) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Zac Barker (Tara Zhang) of Hillsborough, Rachel Evans of Fremont, Gail Price (Josh) of Fremont, Courtney Evans of Raleigh, Christie Jewett (Scott) of Raleigh, Laura Raper (Alex) of Fremont, Casey Milleson of Franklin, TN, Charles Clarke of Portland, OR, Allison Crocker (Nick) of Fremont and Stevie Evans (Celeste) of Fremont; his stepgrandchildren, Brian and Sarah Thompson of Wilson; and his great grandchildren, David Ethan, Bobbie Price, McKenzi Milleson, Allie, Emilee, Lilly Raper and Sammie Gail Crocker.
