Edith Head Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Head of Fremont, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vernon and Julia Perry Sauls; her husband Alton "Zack" Head; her son Alton "Al" Dale Head; and her brothers, William Vernon Sauls, Julian Sauls and Donald Sauls.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Hendricks (Mike) of Broadway; her siblings, Dora Lou Radford (Robert) of Wilson, Wayne Sauls (Faye) of Fremont and Charles Sauls of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Hannah, Rebecca Hendricks and Brandon Head (Ashely); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Head and Zachary Dale Head; her sisters-in-law, Gray Sauls of Fremont and Susie Sauls of Belfast; her friend Edna Braswell; and also Jimmy Braswell. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Aycock Primitive Baptist Church in Fremont where she was a dedicated, faithful and lifelong member.
