He is survived by: his wife Norma Barfield Parrish; his son Joey Parrish of Kenly; his stepdaughter Julie Thompson (Chris) of Sims; his grandchildren, Jessie Parrish of Wilson, Megan Thompson of Sims, Hailey Thompson of Sims and Seth Thompson of Pinehurst; and his brother Randy Parrish (Kitty) of Fremont.
