He was predeceased by: his parents, George Williamson and Mae Evans Williamson; and his sisters, Ola Johnson, Sylvia Hess, Joan Joyner and Ruth Jernigan.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Reason Williamson; his children, Dr. Jennifer Jordan of Goldsboro and Dr. Thomas Clayton Williamson, Jr. of Jackson, MS; his grandchildren, Davis, Andrew, Thomas "Tate" Clayton Williamson III and Rhett Jordan; and his siblings, Velma Lancaster of Fremont, Darlene Bumgarner of East Bend, Harold Williamson of Fremont and G. C. Williamson of Kenly.
