It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Kearney Goodwin of Fremont, North Carolina, born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lonnie Kearney and Bessie Carlisle Kearney; and her siblings, Carson Kearney, Pattie L. Long and Sandra Kearney.
She is survived by : her husband George "Buddy" Goodwin; her daughter Phyllis Williams of Fremont; her grandchildren, Ashley B. Casey and Katie Bowyer; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Rose Casey and Micah Ray Casey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory can be made to CrossPointe Baptist Church in Fremont.
