He was predeceased by : his father David Cornelius; and his brother-in-law Jerry Howard. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Jordan Overman; his son Dwight Overman of Smithfield; his stepdaughters, Tina West (Richard) of Garner and Angela Anzelone (Jimmy) of Garner; his siblings, Randy Overman (Susan) of Fremont, David Ray Overman (Betty) of Kinston, Janice Howard of Lucama and Brenda McArthur (Gary) of Fremont; his brother-in-law Thomas Jordan; and his pets, Cricket, Ginger, Cristi and Precious. He is also survived by his grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
