He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Williams; and his brothers, Steve Williams, Alan Williams, David Williams and Peter Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Polly Williams; his children, Adam Williams (Susan Pittman) of Wilson, April Corbitt (Russ) of Snow Hill and Kimberly Williams of Fremont; his siblings, Danny Williams (Elizabeth), Greg Williams, Tony Williams (Penn), Mark Williams (Debbie), Cecilia Hollander (Larry), Rosie Little (Fred) and Barbara Elam (Barry); and his grandsons, Colin Corbitt, Chandler Corbitt, Matthew Sanders-Williams and Dillyn Hamilton.
