He was predeceased by : his father Jasper "Buddy" Owens. He is survived by : his daughters, Tracy Pittman (Anthony) of Pikeville, Tia Wilson (Mark) of Chesapeake, VA and Trina Gant (Casey) of Zebulon; his mother Louise Owens of Fremont; his brother Mark Owens of Fremont; and his nephew James Owens. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
