He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hunt and Avis Anderson Hunt; his brother Thomas Lee Hunt; and his son-in-law Kenneth Dunigan. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cheek Hunt; his children, Anna Beth Hunt Dunigan of Texas Creek and David Joel Hunt of Franklinville; his grandchildren, Gideon Hunt, Jonathan Hunt, Kaitlyn Hunt Pearson and Zachary Hunt; and his great grandchildren, Aryana Hunt, Achilles Hunt, Izabella Hunt, Sawyer Pearson and Bentley Pearson.
