She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Ferguson; and her parents, Ruben Curtis and Minnie Summey Swaney. She is survived by: her children, Betty Sue Garrison, Deryl of Franklinville, Sheron Kay Brown, Pat of Siler City and John Larry Ferguson of Julian; her siblings, Edith Small of Asheboro, Troy Swaney, Margaret of Lexington and Betty of Trinity; and also Marsha of Julian. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
