He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Davis and Margie Nixon Davis; and his sisters, Treva Allen and Johnsie Snider. He is survived by: his wife Emma "Jo" Davis; his children, Tami Hinshaw (Weldon) of Randleman and Chris Davis (Denna Trogdon) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Lindsey Essing (Justin), Jared Davis (Quinn) and Connor Shipley; and his great grandchild River Essing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
