With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Leroy Walker of Franklinville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra Beane; his parents, John Walker and Anner Coley Walker; and his siblings, Audrey Nance, Roland Walker, Junior Walker, Phillip Walker and Clatie Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Lois J. Walker; his son Rodney L. Walker (Kim) of Franklinville; his brothers, Ervin Walker of Climax and Darrell Walker (Sharon) of Franklinville; his grandchildren, Quinn Walker (Andrea) of Franklinville, Michelle Beane (Alan Stone) of Asheboro, Edward Beane (Kelli Southards) of Ramseur and Daniel Beane of Asheboro; and his great grandchildren, Izzy, Callie Walker, Madison, Kayla Stone, Amelia and Alanna Beane.
