It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ester Turner Kivett of Franklinville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson B. Turner and Lila Mae Ezzell Turner; her husband Herman Lynn Kivett, Sr.; and her siblings, Edith Luther, Dorothy Wells, Ellis Turner, Ethel Turner and Gilbert Ray Turner.
She is survived by: her sons, Garry Mitchell Batchelor (Marilyn) of Clinton, NC, Terry Milton Batchelor (Vickie) of Franklinville and Jeffrey Darl Batchelor (Tammy) of Franklinville; her stepsons, Herman Lynn Kivett, Jr., Terry Dean Kivett (Phyllis) of Candor and Garland Lee Kivett of Randleman; her grandchildren, Ricky Batchelor (Jaime) of Franklinville, Jeremiah Batchelor (Kelly) of Franklinville, David Andrew Batchelor (Jennifer) of Wilmington, Gwen Hay (James) of Randleman and Christy Gilmore (Junior) of Staley; and her siblings, Joanne Turner of Forsyth Georgia, Ethel White (Charles) of Asheboro, Carolyn Braddock (Donald) of Carthage, Marilyn Cross (Roy) of Asheboro, Hilda Tyson (Joe) of Ramseur, Sandra Kay Hunt (Tommy) of Franklinville, Dallas Turner (Patricia) of Asheboro and Douglas Turner (Donita) of Asheboro. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gospel Bible Church of God (736 W Main St, Franklinville, NC 27248).
