She was predeceased by: her husband Phil W. Benbow; her parents, Alexander Shaw and Lillie Henson Shaw; her grandson Shane Benbow; and her brothers, Odell Shaw, Dale Shaw and David Shaw.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Benbow (Corinne) of Franklinville; her sister Rachel Hilliard of Asheboro; her granddaughter Rebecca Benbow Smith (Quinton) of Franklinville; and her great grandchildren, Isabel Benbow of Franklinville and Calvin Smith of Franklinville.
