He is survived by: his wife Alice Cranford Chavis; his children, Mike Primm, Debbie Miller (Brandon), Danny Primm (Lori), Donnie Chavis (Heather), Angel Chavis (Mark) and Brad Bullard (Kim); and his brother Jimmy Chavis (Betty). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
