He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leon Bray, Sr. and Annie Ruth Cockman Bray; and his siblings, Jimmy Bray, Jesse Bray and Nancy Bray Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bray; his children, Genita Sprouse of Franklinville, Jamee Tate of Franklinville, Kevin Tucker of Franklinville, Aaron Tucker of Franklinville and Allen Tucker of Franklinville; his brothers, Larry Bray of Franklinville and Randal Bray of Asheboro; and his pets, Missie, Ginger, Tinsey and Bella. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
