Corena Nance Byrum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2022, at the age of 89, Corena Nance Byrum of Franklinville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Byrum; her parents, Alex Nance and Mattie Haithcock Nance; and her siblings, Mamie Louise Bowers, Artha Mae Nance, Titus Alexander Nance, Gilbert Luther Nance, Alvin Henry, Sr., Alfred Mack Nance and Ervin Jessie Nance.
She is survived by: her friend Jackie Smith; her son Rick Freeman of Cedar Falls; her brothers, Hurley Benjamin Nance (Mary Frances) of Cedar Falls, Curtis Dean Nance (Mary Ellen) of Cedar Falls and Clinton Owens Nance of Cedar Falls; and her stepdaughter Sherri Freeland (Mike) of Statesville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
