She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Evans and Alma Hiatt Evans; and her sister Elaine Cloninger. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Sligh of Lynchburg, VA. and Jeff Sligh of Charlotte; her brothers, Kenneth Evans (Jean) of Greensboro and Roger Evans; and her brother-in-law James Cloninger of Franklinville. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
