It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Preddy of Franklinton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Preddy and Lucy Hicks Preddy; and his brothers, Douglas Preddy and Joseph A. "Buddy" Preddy. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Greathouse; his nephew Rodney Preddy (April); and his niece Janet Legg (Sam). He is also survived by great-nephews and great- nieces and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces.
