It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wiley Obadiah Barrett of Franklinton, North Carolina, born in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wiley "Butch" Obadiah Barrett Jr.; and his brother-in-law Watts L. Mangum II. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Eddy Barrett; his children, Kayla Barrett Goodwin (Kody) and Zakkary Logan Barrett (Samantha); his mother Shirley Davis Veasey; his stepmother Anna Lawler Barrett (Denise Mangum); his father-in-law Joseph Eddy (Donna); his sister Emily Barrett Colclough (Matthew); his grandchildren, Hannah Leigh Goodwin, Zakkary "Bubbies" Logan Barrett Jr. and Bailey Elizabeth Ann Barrett; his close friend Dale Howerton; and his pets, Marley, Buddy and Patches.
