He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon Bragg, Sr. and Mabel Averette Bragg; and his siblings, Carole Garner, Gerald Bragg and B. G. Bragg.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Allgood Bragg; his daughters, Deborah Smith (Jimmie) of Youngsville, Dorothy Herman (Jimmy Plymel) of Franklinton and Rose Hockaday (Greg) of Franklinton; his grandson Dylan Hockaday of Franklinton; his siblings, Betty Harmon of Charlotte, Linda Gordon of Atlanta and Tyson Bragg (Sheila) of Kittrell; and his close friend Curley Gibbs (Debbie) of Franklinton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
